Sometimes it can be hard to know what to say

Do you know someone who was recently diagnosed with cancer, who is receiving treatment for cancer or they have survived their cancer journey? It can be difficult to know what to say. Sometimes people just want you to sit in silence, offer to do some day to day things like shopping or walking the dog or just for them not to be the centre of attention. So be there for them. Simple things can mean so much and small acts of kindness are worth so much. This article gives some good advice about this tricky situation.
