Lymphoedema has other causes such as Cellulitis

Lymphoedema is normally associated with Breast Cancer as a result of their treatment, yet this accounts for only an eighth of the estimated 240,000 or more Britons living with lymphoedema, says Professor Peter Mortimer, a consultant dermatologist at St George’s Hospital, London. Teenager donates her hair to make a wig for a young girl with Alopecia

Lovely story about a teenage girl donating her hair to make a wig for an young girl with alopecia. This kind gesture meant the young girl would have a wig for her communion. Anna Furlong, hairdresser in New Ross set up the Rapunzel Foundation to help children with hair loss.
